This Responsible Liquor Sales Policy ("Policy") outlines the practices and legal obligations adhered to by The Hamper Boutique Co ("we", "our", "us") in relation to the sale, handling and delivery of hampers that contain alcoholic beverages. This Policy applies to all customers who purchase alcohol-inclusive gift hampers through our website: www.thehamperboutique.com.au.
   2. We are committed to promoting the responsible service and delivery of alcohol in accordance with our obligations under the Liquor Control Reform Act 1998 (Vic) and Liquor Licence No. 36171663 issued by the Victorian Liquor Commission.
2. Licence Scope and Product Limitations
   1. Under our liquor licence, we are authorised to supply liquor under the following strict conditions:
      1. Alcohol may only be supplied as part of a gift hamper or package that includes non-alcoholic items.
      2. Liquor must not be sold as a stand-alone product.
      3. Alcohol-inclusive hampers may only include wine, whiskey or gin.
      4. We are limited to a maximum of 22 liquor product lines.
      5. Each gift hamper must not exceed 1.5 litres of alcohol per package.
   2. We reserve the right to substitute or modify product selections to comply with these requirements, and may update our hamper range from time to time within these constraints.
3. Age Verification
   1. We take a strict zero-tolerance approach to underage alcohol sales. In compliance with Victorian law:
      1. You must be 18 years or older to place an order containing alcohol.
      2. The person accepting delivery must also be 18 years or older.
      3. We require the delivery driver to verify age via identification where the recipient appears to be under 25 years old.
      4. Alcohol will not be left unattended and will not be delivered to persons who appear intoxicated.
      5. If suitable proof of age cannot be provided at the time of delivery, the order will be returned and redelivery fees may apply.
4. Delivery Restrictions
   1. In accordance with the Liquor Licence and state legislation:
   2. Deliveries can only be made between:
      1. 9:00 am to 11:00 pm, Monday to Saturday
      2. 10:00 am to 11:00 pm on Sundays
   3. No deliveries will be made:
      1. On Good Friday
      2. On Christmas Day
      3. Before 12 noon on ANZAC Day
   4. All deliveries are completed via approved third-party couriers who are briefed on our liquor compliance obligations.
5. In-Store Pickup and Browsing Prohibited
   1. In accordance with our off-premises licence conditions:
   2. We do not permit customers to browse liquor products in person.
   3. Personal shopping or in-store collection of hampers containing alcohol is strictly prohibited.
   4. All liquor sales are processed exclusively through our website and delivered directly to the recipient.
6. Alcohol Substitutions and Variations
   1. Due to supplier availability and seasonal changes, we may from time to time substitute an alcoholic beverage for an equivalent or superior option. We ensure all substitutions remain within the licence conditions stated above (product category, volume, and product line limits).
7. Responsible Messaging
   1. We are committed to promoting responsible gifting and drinking. We do not encourage excessive consumption or the promotion of alcohol as a necessity. Our marketing of alcohol-inclusive hampers is tasteful, appropriate and does not target minors.
